Zubeen Garg Virtual Memorial
The Zubeen Garg Virtual Memorial is an independent, interactive 3D tribute to our beloved Zubeen Garg (Zubeen Da, 18 November 1972 – 19 September 2025). It was designed and built by Suvam Neog so that people everywhere could remember him together.
It opens in any web browser, on a phone or a computer, and is free with no sign-up.
What you can do there
- Walk a small Assam-inspired island with others who are visiting at the same time.
- Offer a flower, light a candle and float a diya on the river.
- Plant a sapling with a dedication, and leave a note for Zubeen Da.
- Share your sketch of him; the best sketches are shown in a frame by the ghat.
- Explore the archive house: a record of his life and music in which every entry links to its original source.
Who built it
Suvam Neog made the Zubeen Garg Virtual Memorial as a personal tribute, with love and respect. It is not an official memorial and is not affiliated with Zubeen Garg’s family or any organisation.
